Marble Cake
Ingredients
- 225g Flour
- 12g Baking Powder
- 225g butter
- 4 Eggs
- 225g caster Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 15/20 g Cocoa Powder
- 50 ml Milk
- (Volume for a 20cm circular cake tin)
Recipe
- Mix flour + baking powder
- beat butter and caster sugar together
- add eggs 1 at a time mixing well after each
- fold in flour mix + milk + vanilla until smooth
- divide mix between 2 bowls
- add cocoa powder to one of the bowls and mix
- dollop both mixtures into a tin and SWIIIIIRL IT
- tap tin on table for air bubble reasons
- bake for 45/55 mins at 180 (160 in fan) or until a skewer comes out clean
Notes
- make sure to REALLY CREAM the butter + sugar, also maybe melt the butter before hand, its a tad lumpy rn
